Set within the former percussion department of the historic Sweelinck Conservatory, the restaurant remains closely connected to its cultural origins.

Under the leadership of Chef de Cuisine Lars Drost, Taiko’s culinary direction is centred around Japanese technique, product and presentation, complemented by refined influences from other Asian cuisines. With a strong focus on craftsmanship, seasonality and precision, Taiko offers both layered omakase experiences and an à la carte menu.
